![]() I have tried 'pro tools aggregate'įorgive my ignorance. I have tried changing the computers general audio system preferences internal audio device in and out as fast track. I have tried changing I/o settings and manually routing things but i have no idea what im doing. I have noticed that I can't assign an I/o on any track in pro tools as there is nothing but a blank option. If I start a new audio or instrument track I get a signal from testing both microphone and by pressing keyboard but no sound! The session opens only if I change the playback engine to built-in mic rophone. The current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 44.1kHz. ![]() When I go into pro tools with them both connected I get the following error message:Ĭould not create a new document because Assertion in "Volumes/Development/ws.Ludwig/AlturaPorts/DFW/Macbuild/./Views/", line 1350.Īfter that error message if I try to open a new session it says : ![]() The computer registers them as being connected iconically in system preferences and playback engine pro tools hardware. Have downloaded the correct drivers for both. ![]() Using this has never been a problem until I got a new Mac. Had previously installed pt 8 on my old white Mac book with an mbox 2 and it just worked without any problems!! That mbox had a problem with the gain knob.so I am now using an old M-audio fast track with only one mic input and a d/i. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong area. ![]()
